Meet Almond!

This sweet pig was found abandoned, Her owners moved out of their apartment and left her behind! Luckily their next door neighbors found her and brought her to us. 

We weren't sure of her history so she went into a 72 day pregnancy watch and quarantine! In that time we discovered her to be a very gentle and friendly pig.

she enjoyed cuddling! We even found her to have a funny habit! Little almond was a 'nester'. She would pull fabric scraps into her house to make a cozy nest

This odd habit initially caused us to believe she could be pregnant but nope! She was just a silly pig. Before we knew it her quarantine had ended and she was ready to find her forever home!

Two wonderful women ended up taking her in to have at their homeschool center! We normally would not adopt out to schools but these two ladies showed incredible knowledge on guinea pigs which made us believe they would provide her with a lovely home! Almond is now very happy with her new home and in search for her cagemate!!
